Wes (Wesly Matthews) is a musical artist and producer from Mississippi of several varieties of genres. Born August 6, 1996. Wes first started releasing music through Bandcamp, under different stage names for different genres. He released electronic and trap music through the name "PixL8te" and has been in several bands throughout the years. Wes' first ever album release was called Made in China released through Bandcamp on May 13, 2014, featuring many intense upbeat techno tracks made possible with loop recorders, Garageband, and samples.

The Following album E=DM², kicked off the year 2016 and released on New Years Day. This album gained Wes a bigger fan base and caught attention from internet streamers/vloggers. After being released on Bandcamp for some time, YouTuber and Musician Destery Smith came with Soundwave, and Wes had the whole album submitted to Soundwave for Youtubers and others to use in their projects.

Third album, xTc was relased April 7, 2017. featuring some very "trippy" melodic Electronic tracks, a remix, and some help from friends of Wes. xTc is the third released EDM album from Wes on Bandcamp.

In 2019, Wes produced ...Where's Wes? and released the ambient-themed EDM album on all major streaming platforms. As the first album to be published professionally, Wes went on to create Wes Sounds Studio. Starting as a simple studio service, and overnight became a Record Label in February 2020. With multiple artists, including Wes, and a variety of genres. Wes Sounds Studio's music can be found on all major streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Itunes/Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Shazam, etc.

In Summer of 2021, Wes Sounds Studio slowly faded as a record label and Wes had shut the whole company down until summer of 2022 and has stepped back down to a Recording/Media Studio due to Wes focusing more on his own music and having to overcome a shadow ban on his artist profiles in early 2022.

Wes has released more music since then, such as NEON HIGHWAY in summer 2021, and sue me later that fall. Wes has unofficially released more music amongst his YouTube and related pages.

 

With the release of the debut album 'DIRTY' on December 5, 2022, Wes opened Wes Sounds Studio back up in the recent summer and has been re-inventing the whole craft from start!

Wes also has a Soundcloud page where exclusive content is posted that is sometimes not posted anywhere else. And sometimes it is only up for a limited time.
